Pet Expo 2018

Pet Transport NZ were delighted to attend the New Zealand Pet Expo again in 2018 at the ASB Showgrounds.  Situated on the first corner beside Auckland City Council, it was a pleasure to support one of our favourite clients; The Blind Foundation Guide Dogs, by collecting gold coins. In exchange for donations we gifted visitors to our stand with their choice of Pet Transport stress dog squishies or bottle of NZ spring water.

As one of the only non-retail exhibitors, amid some 20,000 attendees, we installed a "flight lounge" for humans to destress, hydrate and relax before diving back into the melee.   Thanks to The Social Agency who designed the experience and produced our brand video.  This played on our widescreen in the lounge for people to watch on Smooch Collection designer furniture and furnishings, whilst enjoying bespoke branded gifts by Dynamic Gift.

It was a team effort and we would also like to acknowledge our dedicated staff who were onsite from pack in to pack down to assist with every element of a very successful Pet Expo.  Our thanks also extend to Pet Expo organisers Brian and Peter who made every effort to accomodate our requests and our congratulations on a superb event we were proud to be a part of.  The Pet Expo provided an opportunity to convey our new direction: a  focus on international pet imports included in our established transport mix for export and domestic shipping.

Pet Expo was popular with both pet owners and colleagues; also in attendance were Ministry of Primary Industries, pet rescue organisations, breeders and pet food manufacturers we deal with during our usual work week.  It was a welcome opportunity to connect and collaborate outside the office.   To all the participants of the 2018 Pet Expo it was a pleasure to meet you in person.  If you would like to continue to follow our journey, please find us on social; Instagram, Facebook  and please do share this post with pet and travel lovers you know!
