Relocating pets from New Zealand this month has seen a whole lot of moving pets to Canada! August has been full of sending dogs to Canada, and some back again! So here are some of our favourite regular clients and furry friends plus some tips for shipping pets to Canada successfully! Our biggest international pet transport clients this month were the MacDonald dogs, a team of working dogs we flew to Canada last month. Half the troupe of dogs had their contracts extended and remain in Canada working. The other half were sent back to Auckland to complete 10 days of quarantine together before going home to their farm. Although return interntaional trips are not the norm at Pet Transport NZ, we are proud to be the world leaders in this pet travel field. Return flights for pets are not a common thing due to the added costs and logistical complications of 2 exports and reentry requirements into New Zealand. However, where there is a will there is a way! This is not the MacDonald dogs first return flights overseas from New Zealand with us. nor is it likely to be their last! Whether you are moving 7 dogs to Canada and back again or just a cat, Pet Transport NZ is the only pet transporter who promise to deliver your pets safely! We have been in the international pet transport game for over 50 years and we have never had an accident or fatality. We care for your pets by ensuring the paperwork is perfect and everything happens exactly as we detail it in our quotes. Ready to move overseas? Contact us now for a free quote and cage fitting!

Pet Transport has had a sudden rush of cats flying long haul from New Zealand! These travelling cats all moved to Europe, with the exception of Betty the ragdoll who flew to Vancouver in Canada. All stunning breeds and mixes, bengal, ragdoll and persian cats made an appearance in the last week! This photo tells a thousand words about international pet transport. No MPI vet wants to fail a travelling pet on their final pre-flight certification! Poor Luna was feeling a bit nervous in the MPI office the lovely Dr. Phillipa picked her up and gave her cuddles during her whole appointment! Luna's travel cat companion Hugo (below) was totally cool and calm about moving to London from Auckland. Harley is a silver traveller! This senior ragdoll was 15 years young on the day of his departure for Manchester. He took it all in his stride. As did Hugo and Luna who were perfect travellers on the day.
