Pet Transport NZ had dozens and dozens of wonderful cats and dogs enter from all over Aotearoa to win an IATA compliant travel crate. Our esteemed international pet transport consultants aka judges had to take some time to deliberate amongst themselves to choose our finalists. Points were awarded for clear demonstration of the pet's personality and of course dashing good looks. Being a photography competition, humans were also awarded points for clear photos in great lighting.  3rd: Prince Stanley Whiskers the cat captivated us with his relaxed pose and charming expression.  2nd: Cash the Minibullie checking on his pups through the window captured our hearts with his love.  1st: Sausage the cat in a dinosaur hat was clear favourite with her inimitable style and grace. Congratulations to all our winners and a big thank you to all our wonderful pet loving community to entered for themselves or rescues and fosters they wanted to help. It was our pleasure to share our passion for safe pet transport with all of you and thank you for inviting new members into our group. Happy travelling pet fam!

Moving pets to the UK from NZ takes a little more coordination than a quick trip across the ditch to Australia. We fly pets to UK from New Zealand on a daily basis. Our team of international pet transport consultants have a few tips to help you move your pet to the United Kingdom successfully.  Moving pets to UK is easy with Pet Transport NZ! We just shipped two cats to UK from NZ called Whistler and Raz. If you want to travel on the same plane as your pet, contact a pet transport consultant in NZ before you start booking your flights overseas. You need to ensure you both arrive during the Veterinary Border Control hours at your destination airport.  Moving cats to UK is much the same as moving dogs to the UK from NZ. These cats departed from Wellington. .Before flying, your pets must undergo an examination by the Official Ministry of Primary Industries Veterinarian of NZ. Here they must obtain an MPI Health Export Certificate and a separate Animal Welfare Export Certificate. As the only Pet Transport service located at Auckland airport, moving pets to the UK is really easy with us. MPI is also based at Auckland airport and MPI Certification is simply completed on the day we fly your pet to the UK.

Pet Transport NZ was pretty chuffed to hear our little bloggy woggy won an award! Ok, full disclosure we thought it was spam so we ignored it for ages but they were really persistent and eventually we checked our email to read the pet transport blog had been placed in the top 100 Feedreader Blogs.  We would like to thank everyone who has read, liked and shared our blog. We hope you find our tips useful and our journeys interesting. Biggest round of applause goes to the beautiful pets themselves who brighten our blog with their antics. We look forward to more international adventures with you!
